Timothy Myers, C.S., of La Cañada Flintridge, California will present the Association address during our in-person meeting at First Church of Christ, Scientist in Atlanta.
We will have online Zoom and call-in options for those who are unable to attend in person.
First Church of Christ, Scientist, Atlanta is the oldest Christian Science church in the South (original church edifice dedicated in 1899 and current edifice built in 1914), it is located in Midtown Atlanta in the Arts District, which includes the High Museum of Art, Atlanta Symphony Hall and the Woodruff Arts Center.
About our Speaker
Timothy Myers, C.S.
Timothy Myers is a Christian Science practitioner based in La Cañada Flintridge, California. Born and raised in Glendale, California, he graduated from Occidental College with a degree in English Literature. Before entering the public practice in 1991 and becoming Journal-listed in 1994, he worked as a general contractor and later oversaw the construction of a new church for First Church of Christ, Scientist, Glendale, California.
Tim has served his local church as First Reader for 15 years, Sunday School teacher, and board member. For many years, he was an advisor to the Christian Science Organization at Occidental College and worked as a chaplain teaching Sunday School at local boys’ camps in Southern California. He also served six years on the Christian Science Board of Lectureship. He has several articles and audio shows published in the Christian Science periodicals.
